Summer Events in Broxbourne

Helping children in Waltham Cross stay fit and fed this summer

Fit and Fed is a scheme encouraging young people and their families to join in with games and sport activities, as well as learning about healthy eating and how to prepare a healthy meal.

Ran by Broxbourne Council’s Community Development Team, the scheme will run in collaboration with sport charity StreetGames and organisations including , B3 Living and Aldwyck Housing Group.

The Fit and Fed sessions are aimed at 8-16 year olds and completely free to attend. Sessions will be running every morning from 10.00am - 12.30pm, Monday to Friday at Isabella House Nursery, 22 July – 30 August.

Come and join us in your local park for loads of FREE summer activities.

Laser Tag + Nerf Wars + Water Fights + American Football + Dodgeball + Archery + Tennis + Basketball + Cricket + Football + Rounders + Volleyball + Pickleball 

Lark in the Park is free and is taking place in local parks all over Broxbourne.  There’s a session running from 2pm – 4pm every week day from Monday 22 July until Friday 30 August 2019.

Monday – Grundy Park (Cheshunt) excluding Bank Holiday Monday
Tuesday – Cedars Park (Theobalds)
Wednesday – Cheshunt Park (Cheshunt)
Thursday – Barclay Park (Hoddesdon)
Friday – Fishers Close Park (Waltham Cross)
