Royal Garden Party

Jackie and KarenJackie Clementson and Karen Dorney, who both work in Children Services, attended the Royal Garden Party on the 29th of May at Buckingham Place. Jackie was nominated to attend by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government for work on the national Troubled Families programme and transforming early help services in Hertfordshire. An official invitation was sent from the Lord Chancellor to Jackie who was accompanied by Karen, who had also been working on the programme.

The Queen, Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice were in attendance to over 8000 guests from the public sector, armed forces and voluntary and community sector. Speaking about the event Jackie said "Despite the good old English weather it was an honour to be invited and it is a once in a lifetime and truly memorable experience.2"
