The Intensive Steppers Running Club!

They did it !!!!

In our summer newsletter we let you know about the running club the Stevenage and North Herts Intensive Family Support Team (IFST) set up during the pandemic, creating the Intensive Steppers Running Club!

They decided to challenge themselves and complete this race for life to raise money to support the vital research and support for cancer sufferers and their families.

We are pleased to report that they managed to raise a massive £3343!

The Team all ran with signs of all the people known personally to the team affected by cancer which was quite emotive. It was a suddenly very hot day so we definitely suffered by all ten people who attended finished the race with one member Alex making a record time of 28 minutes. It was a great day with a lot of team spirit and felt like a huge achievement for the training everyone had put in over the past few months – some of whom had never run before!
